I was probably born with crayons in my hands. I have always drawn, painted and created in various mediums. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphics and Illustration and started my professional career as a free-lance Illustrator and Designer.
When I shifted to painting full time I focused originally on colorful landscapes and food but have moved on to Abstract Expressionism with bits of landscape thrown in. I love experimenting with colors, shapes and patterns in my work.
I currently have paintings in collections throughout the United States, England and Canada.
I paint primarily with acrylics but all options are open for experimentation. I use pastel and oil crayons, chalks, various collage papers, some of which I have made, stencils and various mark making tools. I am always on the lookout for something that will add more depth and interest to my work.

My paintings are on mounted birch panels, gallery wrap canvases or watercolor paper. I like to keep options open for what I think will make for the best and most satisfying imagery.

Anything can become an inspiration for a whole or part of any painting. Sky colors, clouds, a flower, trees...just natural patterns or a combination of colors that catch my imagination.
